Acceptance
By downloading or using Wandrd, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Your use of Wandrd is also covered by our Privacy Policy.
Who can use Wandrd
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to use Wandrd. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
Your account
You can use Wandrd anonymously or create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else has accessed it.
Your travel data
The content you add (countries, dates, notes) belongs to you. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, sync, and display it back to you across your devices. We do not claim ownership of it and we do not use it for advertising. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your own copies of anything important to you.
Intellectual property
Wandrd, including its name, branding, software, and design, is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not give you ownership of the app, and you may not use our name or branding without our prior written permission.
Acceptable use
Please use Wandrd lawfully and reasonably. Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service, access other people's data, or scrape the app with automated tools.
The app and its availability
Wandrd is provided free of charge and on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, or discontinue parts of the app at any time, and we make reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary disruption. We cannot promise the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. If we introduce paid features in the future, they may carry their own additional terms.
Country detection is for interest only
Country detection and the travel data Wandrd shows are for your personal interest and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Do not rely on them for legal, immigration, tax, insurance, or travel decisions.
App stores
If you downloaded Wandrd from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to that store's terms. The app store is not responsible for the app or for providing support for it.
Ending your use
You can stop using Wandrd and delete your account at any time, which permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms.
Disclaimer and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wandrd is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or data loss arising from your use of the app. Because Wandrd is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country give you the right to bring proceedings where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Wandrd after a change means you accept the updated terms.
